10 октября 2017 года сотрудники Управления по международным связям, лидеры и актив землячеств иностранных обучающихся Курского государственного медицинского университета приняли участие в рабочем совещании, посвященном  соблюдению требований миграционного законодательства РФ, а также проблеме незаконного оборота наркотиков в Курской области. Встреча проходила на базе Управления по вопросам миграции УМВД России по Курской области.

На встрече присутствовали: заместитель начальника Управления по вопросам миграции УМВД России по Курской области полковник полиции Емельянова Ольга Николаевна, заместитель начальника отдела разрешительно-визовой работы Управления по вопросам миграции УМВД России по Курской области Светлана Валентиновна Гриднева, старший оперуполномоченный по особо важным делам Управления по контролю за оборотом наркотиков УМВД России по Курской области старший лейтенант полиции Лобова Ольга Александровна, советник при ректорате, Почетный консул Демократической Социалистической Республики Шри-Ланка в Курске Шехине Мохамад Туфик, начальник управления по международным связям Юрий Шалвович Иобидзе, сотрудники управления по международным связям, лидеры и актив землячеств иностранных обучающихся КГМУ.

По мнению специалистов миграционной службы, иностранным гражданам, обучающимся в России, особенно первокурсникам, необходима помощь в правовой адаптации. С требованиями миграционного законодательства представителей землячеств ознакомили сотрудники специализированного управления при УМВД России по Курской области.

В рамках встречи до студентов была доведена информация о порядке въезда, выезда, оформления разрешительных документов, оформления гражданства Российской Федерации, об ответственности, предусмотренной за нарушение миграционного законодательства, а также обсуждались вопросы недопущения экстремистских проявлений, профилактики совершения правонарушений. Особое внимание было уделено проблеме незаконного оборота наркотиков.

Только в этом году в Курской области за незаконный оборот наркотиков были привлечены к уголовной ответственности около 30 иностранцев. Вниманию иностранных студентов был представлен фильм о совершенных в Курской области преступлениях, связанных с оборотом наркотических средств. Представитель Управления по контролю за оборотом наркотиков рассказала об актуальности данной проблемы, об ответственности за совершение подобных преступлений, а также  призвала иностранных граждан быть внимательными и содействовать раскрытию преступлений, таких как хранение, употребление и распространение наркотиков. 

Проведенная встреча направлена на профилактику нарушения иностранными обучающимися миграционного законодательства России.

The Meeting of KSMU Foreign Students with Officers of the Directorate for Migration Affairs

On October 10, 2017 staff members of the Administration for international relations, the leaders and active students of the foreign communities of KSMU took part in a working meeting dedicated to the compliance with the requirements of the Russian migration legislation, as well as to the problem of illegal drug trafficking in the Kursk region. The meeting was held at the premises of the Directorate for Migration Affairs of the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region.

Present at the meeting were: the deputy chief of the Directorate for Migration Affairs Colonel of police Yemelyanova Olga Nikolayevna; the deputy chief of the department of licensing and visa work of the Directorate for Migration Affairs Svetlana Valentinovna Gridneva; the lead investigator for special cases of the Directorate for Control of Drug Trafficking of the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region Senior lieutenant of police Lobova Olga Alexandrovna; the rectorate advisor, Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Kursk Chahine Mohamad Tufik; the head of the Administration for international relations Yu.Sh. Iobidze; staff members of the Administration for international relations; the leaders and active students of the foreign communities of KSMU.

According to the migration service experts’ opinion the foreign citizens studying in Russia, especially the first year students, need help in the law adaptation. The officers of the specialized Directorate under the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region introduced the requirements of the migration legislation to the representatives of the communities.

In the course of the meeting the students were informed of the procedure of entry, exit, processing of approval documents, execution of the Russian Federation citizenship, of the responsibility for the violation of the migration legislation. There were also discussed issues of avoiding extremist manifestations, prevention of commission of any offences. Special focus was on the problem of the illegal drug trafficking.

This year alone, about 30 foreigners were brought to criminal responsibility for illegal drug trafficking in the Kursk region. A short film about the crimes, related to the distribution of narcotic drugs, committed in the Kursk Region, was demonstrated to the foreign students. The representative of the Directorate for Control of Drug Trafficking told them about the relevancy of the given problem, the responsibility for the commission of such crimes, and urged the foreign citizens to be on the alert and contribute to detection of the crimes, such as storage, use and distribution of drugs.

The meeting was aimed at prevention of violation of the Russian migration legislation by the foreign students.
